Kolkatta: Indian Footballer Chuni Goswami left breath dure to a major cardiac arrest. Mr. Goswami was suffering from sugar and nerve problems for the last few months.

The 82-year-old player was the reason behind India winning a Gold medal in 1962 Asian games. He also played cricket towards Bengal at a young age. On a look-back, he played more than 50 matches for India from 1956 to 1965. At the age of 46, this iconic man diverted his career to cricket where he played first-class games for a decade.
Goswami was born in 1938 in Bangladesh. Later in 1954, he started as a junior player on the football team. In a span of fewer than 2 years from 1956 he was made captain to the team.
